Munez Tater Sue 1990 AQHA
94% NFQHA Bay Mare
I raised and trained 'Suzy'. She is very broke to ride, and in fact was a riding mare until she had her first foal at 14 years of age. She can cut a cow, rein and has been roped off of. She is an oustanding trail mare too. Her sire is a Cow Palace SBF champion and her dam also was a finalist in cutting. She has Doc Bar and Poco Bueno on her face papers. As of 2010, dam of 4 AQHA foals, one also registered with APHA. Pictured at 20 years old, colt is her 2010 grandson of Docs Hickory. Bred to Bubba Dexter, buckskin grandson of Cutter Bill and due June 2011. Hopefully we will get a filly in 2011 to carry on her very special legacy. I also have frozen semen from her 2007 Mr Gun Smoke grandson.

Munez Smokin Tater 2007 Bay AQHA/APHA/95% NFQHA Stallion 'Tater'
Tater is out of my very special foundation AQHA and 94% NFQHA mare Munez Tater Sue (Suzy) who I raised and trained. I also own his 2010 half-brother out of Suzy. He will have 90 days of professional training with Luke Jones, AQHA and NRCHA professional, including being introduced to cattle. He has a big motor, typical Mr Gun Smoke, I think, but I suspect he will show a lot of work ethic and talent as he matures and gets those hours in the saddle. I'm looking forward to bringing him home and enjoying riding him.
We kept him a stud because of his outstanding pedigree and his unusual triple registration, however due to the current market conditions and our own financial limitations I have decided to geld Tater and use him as my own personal riding horse. I do have limited frozen semen from him and there are three foals expected in 2011 who will be eligible for the Iowa Breeder's Cutting Futurity. I expect him to be an excellent producer and will keep his frozen semen to use in the future.

EZG Hickory Tater 2010 Bay AQHA/NFQHA Stallion 'Spud'
Spud is out of our 94% NFQHA mare, Munez Tater Sue. Correct with excellent and heavy bone and muscle, friendly, curious and bold, this colt has all the potential to be an outstanding cow horse! His sire, Denim Hickory, is an NCHA money earner. Denim Hickory is an OWN SON of Docs Hickory and a grandson of Doc Olena, putting both on Spud's papers.

Pictured to the left at 6 months old getting ready for his first bath-look at his quiet, laid-back attitude-this is a STUD colt who lives in the pasture with other weanlings and is handled once every two weeks or so-here you can see him surrounded by my daughters! This is a very special colt and he reminds me SO much of his dam.
